Thank you to all who auditioned for 2nd Year Acting. Your talent and commitment are much appreciated by the panel members.
Contingent upon a satisfactory C+ academic average in the 2013-2014 academic year and meeting the requirements and deadlines listed in the Department of Theatre Handbook, the following students are offered placement in 2nd Year Acting for the 2014-2015 academic year:
Students must accept or decline offers by NOON on Thursday, May 1st by email to Mark Wilson (email@example.com) or the spot will be given to the person next on the wait list (please notify us as soon as you have made up your mind!). If you have been accepted into more than one area, please notify both the area whose offer you are accepting and the area(s) whose offer(s) you are waiving.
Acceptance into any area/series of courses is conditional upon final grades as of the end of the Winter term 2014.
Please ensure that Mark Wilson (firstname.lastname@example.org) have your coordinates for the summer: address, e-mail, and telephone number. Mark will be in contact with you several times about preparing for September.
Students who accept an offer have to submit online the request to change their degree to BFA (if in Acting or Production), by going online and submitting electronically the form "Change My Program" to change from Honours BA, Specialized, to Honours BFA by June 1st. All three general education requirements must be completed within your first 90 credits, and it is strongly recommended that you complete them within your first 60 credits. Because of the intense workload in fourth-year acting it is highly recommended that students complete all courses outside the Department of Theatre before entering into their fourth-year. Students enrolled in the Acting Area cannot schedule GenEd classes (out/out or in/out) during the evening or on Saturday as this will conflict with rehearsals and performances. All students are encouraged to schedule all non-theatre classes for Monday during the day.
The following people are on the waiting list. Mark Wilson will contact you if a placement becomes open. Ensure he has your summer coordinates (phone/email). If a placement becomes available, the position will be offered in the following order:
